Reen Cottage is set on 2 acres of private land with the nearest house at least 200 mtrs away, so complete privacy is guaranteed.  Can you imagine, opening the rear Patio Doors, on a beautiful summers evening  and walking for 5 minutes, arriving at the stunningly beautiful coastline, with nothing between you and North America except 5,000 kms of the Atlantic Ocean?........and if you bring your fishing rod, you may even bring back some Mackerel for breakfast!  Once you experience Reen Cottage, you will clearly understand why the same families return for their holidays year after year!

Reen Cottage, is located midway between Schull and Goleen villages, one of the most sought after holidays locations in Ireland.  The location gives you the best of both worlds, that is, the luxury of absolute peace and quiet at the Cottage, with the hustle and bustle of two thriving cosmopolitan villages less than 10 minutes drive away.

Our Holiday Home offers over 1500 square ft of flexible living space. It comprises of 4 bedrooms including 2 ensuites and a third bathroom downstairs with shower.   The kitchen is wonderfully large, measuring over 20 feet in length and contains a Dishwasher, Fridge and Microwave.  There is also a separate Utility Room. containing a Tumble Dryer and Washing Machine.  The interior is tastefully designed to maintain that "cottage feel", by extensive use of whitewashed walls with roughened finish, and lots and lots of natural wood including the stairs, Mezzanine area, all the bedrooms, Sitting Room and indeed some of the ceilings are wood finished.

An ususual feature inspired by our Architect is the fact that the Sitting Room is located on the first floor.  The reason for this is to enhance the stunning views from the rear of the Cottage, through the feature window.

The villa has luxury facilities and equipment to attend to all your likely holiday needs including a T.V., DVD, Sky Satellite T.V., oil fired digital heating system and all modern conveniences.  Quality prevails throughout from the ceramic tiling, wooden floors, tasteful design and of course the wonderful stone work.

For the Golfers, there are many courses to choose from including Bantry Golf Course designed by Christy O'Connor Jnr., which is only 16/18 miles from the Cottage.

No Irish Cottage holiday would be complete without Irish Pubs! There are 14 pubs within a 5 mile radius of the Cottage, many of which serve excellent food, particularly local Seafood.
